This seminar will discuss COVID-19 vaccine development, including innovations by Operation Warp Speed and FDA to accelerate vaccine availability.  We will also discuss criteria for success - what FDA wants and why they want it - that vaccine candidates must meet before they can be distributed in the US.

The speaker, Maria Oyaski, has been a frequent speaker for NCRAF's RAC courses for many years.  She recently joined the Danish vaccine company Bavarian Nordic, where she is currently the global regulatory lead for Bavarian Nordic's smallpox/monkeypox vaccine, as well as responsible for regulatory affairs in several countries for their rabies vaccine.
